Jocie Sobieraj, M.Ed is a higher educational equity professional who has over five years of higher educational working experience, two of which have been specifically with the undocumented community. As a Graduate Assistant with the Monarch Program at The University of Texas at Austin, she co-led dozens of customized UndocuAlly Trainings for different departments across campus. Jocie is a core member of Rooted, the Immigrant Student Liberation Collective at UT-Austin.

 

Katya Guzman, B.A was born in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico and raised in Ennis, Texas. She is a recent alumna of the University of Texas at Austin, with a degree in Latino Studies and Human Dimensions of Organizations. At UT-Austin, she served as the Development Lead for University Leadership Initiative (ULI), an organization that provides resources and community support for undocumented students on campus. Katya serves as a founding member of Rooted, the Immigrant Student Liberation Collective at UT-Austin.
