      Why UndocUEquity?

Currently, UndocUEquity LLC is the only consulting business that provides trainings specifically focused on undocumented students in higher education. While Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) trainings are more commonplace in colleges and universities, these trainings rarely, if ever, focus on the immigrant student population. Because immigration status is an invisible identity, it is often overlooked, which adds a further degree of marginalization.

The invisible nature of immigration status forces undocumented students to “out” themselves in order to advocate for their needs. UndocUEquity LLC stands out because we train student affairs staff to proactively consider immigration status when supporting students so students do not have to be self-advocates and find their own resources. We work to uplift a student community that is all too often left out of typical DEI conversations in higher education.
